April 2002 – May 2009 Director of Photography The Fresno Bee
Directed a staff of 13 talented journalists producing the visuals for Central California’s leading newspaper. Oversaw a budget of more than $600,000. Worked with all of the newspaper’s reporters and editors in developing stories for both print and online. Worked with The Bee’s Community Relations department in projects getting the company’s message to its employees and people in the community.

Assisted two different directors in running a department of 13 journalists. Scheduled, assigned and edited their work on deadline.
